Although there’s nothing wrong with doing it that way, our favorite thing to do is order a cheap pack of 10 sticky mustaches.

The 5 Basic Steps to Play the Mustache Drinking Game

Easy Drinking Games for Adults

  1. Stick the mustache anywhere on the screen of the TV.
  2. Start the Movie/TV show. (Any show or movie will do)
  3. Every time someone’s face on the screen appears to have a mustache, everyone drinks.
  4. If the person on the screen already has a mustache, everyone drinks twice.
  5. If one of the players is sporting a genuine mustache, he must drink one shot more than his friends every time.

And wallah – that’s it! Perhaps the best casual drinking game of all time. Endlessly entertaining and completely mindless.

This is a social game, so keeping score isn’t necessary and you can focus on the show.  Making sure to notice the things you’ll need to drink to can also help you focus on the fast-talking familial pair without getting lost in their blur of words.  To play you’ll need at least one other person, but inviting some gal pals over for a pizza-fueled sleepover will make it all the more fun!

How To Play The Gilmore Girls Drinking Game: Rules

Since Gilmore Girls shows a lot of eating and drinking on the screen, you could easily devise a game by taking bites and sips whenever someone does so on screen.

However, to add a bit more variety to the game, follow the suggestions below:

-Drink every time Lorelai gets hit on

-Take a sip every time Rory has an awkward make-out session with one of her boyfriends

-Drink every time Sookie accidentally injures herself

-Take a drink of chaser every time Lane is grounded (her parents would be horrified at the mere thought of alcohol!)

-Drink whenever Kirk has another random job

-Take a sip each time Miss Patty teaches a ballet class

-Finish your drink every time there’s a reference to Sylvia Plath

-Take a sip whenever Emily offers Rory and Lorelai a drink

-Drink every time someone mentions Yale

This version can get fairly intense as far as alcohol consumption amount and frequency, so make sure to drink plenty of water, soda, and pizza to balance it out.

Alternately, you can skip some of the suggested drinking prompts (it is a social game rather than competitive, after all!) Stay safe and hold a grudge to burn off all the calories.

How To Play the South Park Drinking Game

Players: 2+ | Type: Social | Drink: Any | Good Times: 😉 😉 😉

South Park Drinking Game: Overview

The South Park Drinking Game is a TV watching game where you drink when certain repeated things happen in the show. You can play this while watching an episode or two, or you can marathon a few seasons to really make things crazy!  Following along with Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny- not to mention the rest of the residents and visitors of South Park, Colorado- always makes for an interesting time, but this game certainly takes the hilarity of the show up a notch.

This is a social game, so keeping score isn’t necessary and you can focus on the show.  Making sure to notice the things you’ll need to drink to can also help you catch any of those more subtle jokes from the show.  To play you’ll need at least one other person, but if you have more friends it will definitely be more fun.

How To Play South Park Drinking Game: The Rules

Since South Park is notably crude, the most basic version of this game involves taking a drink whenever a character swears in the show. However, this approach is not recommended, as it will likely lead to excessive drinking.

In order to maintain a more moderate amount of drinking, follow these suggestions for common, but not constantly repeated events from the show:

Take a Drink

-Take a sip every time Cartman denies he’s fat

-Drink every time Stan is the voice of reason

-Take a sip every time it’s mentioned Kyle and his family are Jewish

-Drink every time a scene change is accompanied by banjo notes

-Take a drink of chaser every time Butters gets grounded, and an additional sip if it’s not his fault (Butters would get grounded for alcohol, after all!)

-Drink whenever Chef says “Hello there, children!”, and finish your drink if he asks how they’re doing and they reply “bad”

-Take a sip each time Mr. Garrison is shown teaching the children about pop culture instead of school subjects

-Finish your drink every time Mr. Mackey says “mkay”

-Take a sip whenever Randy is shown doing something outrageous (the wheelbarrow bit, “I’m sorry, I thought this was AMERICA”, dressing as Lorde, etc.)

-Drink every time someone says “my god”

-Take a sip if Cartman calls Kyle’s Mom a bitch

-Drink whenever a Canadian is shown, and take two drinks if they say “buddy”

-Take a sip every time Craig’s shown flipping someone off

-Drink every time Jimmy stutters or says “what a terrific audience!”

-Take a sip every time a swear word is censored by another sound effect

-Chug some mixer every time someone says “I learned something today…”

Since this version can still be pretty intense, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat throughout the game.  Alternately, you can skip some of the suggested drinking prompts (it is a social game rather than competitive, after all!) Stay safe and have yourself a time!

South Park Drinking Game Variations

Now that you’ve got the rules down here’s a few fun ways to play!

They Killed Kenny- The first person to yell “They Killed Kenny” when this character dies gets to pick another person and have them finish their drink.

Cartman Sings- Everyone takes a shot when Cartman sings a song in an episode, with extra sips if the song includes any of the events from the original list.

Oh, I ‘Member- Everyone finishes their drinks when the member berries are on screen. You know, to “take the edge off.”

Respect Mah Authoritay!- Anytime Cartman says this phrase, the first person to jump up is allowed to pick one person and have them complete a task of their choosing (take the next beer run, make them a quesadilla, perform a 30-second improvisational dance, etc.)

Title Drop- Everyone takes a drink when the phrase South Park is said in the show

How To Play NHL Drinking Game: Overview

The NHL Drinking Game is a TV watching game where your drinking depends on the events occurring in the hockey match.  For our variation, you’ll need some basic hockey knowledge, but mostly you’ll just need to pick a team to root for.

Following along with certain players can make things more interesting, but be sure to choose carefully! Since drinks are taken based on the progress of the game, make sure to keep a sharp eye out.

Since this is a social game there’s no need to worry about score…unless your team is losing, that is. To play you’ll need at least one other person, but the more the merrier (as long as you have enough couch space!)

-Everyone drinks if the puck hits the post

-Do a shot if a player gets kicked out of face-off

-Everyone playing takes a sip in rotation whenever the players skate behind the goal

NHL Hockey Drinking Gameplay Variations

Now that you’ve got the basics here’s a few fun ways to switch it up!

Everyone Drinks- Instead of only the team that’s scored on having to drink, everyone present drinks whenever there’s a goal.

Sudden Death- In the event the game goes into overtime, drink continuously whenever your team has possession.

Fight Club- If things get rough, everyone has to finish their drink! Vary this further by placing bets on the involved players and drinking if you back the wrong guy.
